Fresh brew in 2021 from Kirakucho, all new SPEC, and design, refreshingly fruity and sharp dryness.
2020 was their 200th anniversary, and Mayuko, who is the 9th generation, started to involve brewing seriously.
In 2021, they have changed the design of brewing largely, and this freshly brewed Sake was just released.
The aroma is very fresh and fruity, like lychee. As holding it in the mouth, the Umami of rice spreads gently. The taste is juicy and sweet. Towards the end, dryness shows up and makes the finish sharp and clear.
Serving chilled is the best way to appreciate, but you can enjoy the strong Umami of rice at 40-45 degrees.
