Healthy Otsumami, Steamed Colorful Vegs 'n Pork

By steaming, pork loses its fat a lot. The taste of the sauce is a bit intensive but apple gives freshness and natural sweetness. Aromatic and dry type sake is the good pairing partner.

Pork rib slice 150g
Small tomato 3
Broccoli 30g
Green part of leeks 20g
Okra 2
Boiled carrot 20g

Sauce
Black vinegar 2 tbsp
Grated onion 2 tbsp
Grated apple 1 tbsp
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Sesame oil 1 tbsp
White sesame 1 tsp

How to cook

  1. Grate onion and apple.
  2. Add and mix other ingredients of the sauce to the grated onion and apple.
  3. Roll mini tomatoes with sliced pork rib and skewer 3 of them.
  4. Roll broccolis with sliced pork rib and skewer 3 of them.
  5. Roll boiled carrots and okras with sliced pork rib, then cut into 3 and skewer them.
  6. Roll leeks with sliced pork rib, then cut into 3 and skewer them.
  7. Steam 3-6) for 5-7 mins.
