Pairing Grilled Tuna with Black Pepper with AZUMATSURU ORIGARAMI

Azumatsuru Origarami is a sake which has an attractive aroma and taste like apples. Peppers stand the apple flavor out and give additional umami flavor to the tuna. The aftertaste becomes fresher and crisper.

Main

  • Tuna sashimi 200g
  • Black Pepper 2 tbsp
  • Garlic 1 piece
  • Japanese Radish 200g
  • Cucumber 1/2
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp

Sauce

  • Soy sauce 2 tbsp
  • Sugar 1/2 tbsp
  • Lemon Juice 2 tbsp

How to cook

  1. Grind pepper
  2. Grate Japanese radish and cucumber
  3. Mix lemon juice, soy sauce, and sugar for the sauce
  4. Cover tuna with ground pepper
  5. Fry garlic with olive oil
  6. Singe tuna
  7. Wrap with foil and let sit for 4 mins
