Reuse the Left-over Sake

This dessert has a slight aroma of sake instilled into the bread. Especially, sweet and aromatic sake is better to enjoy the feeling of sake. The flavor of sake adds Japanese essence to the western desert.

Ingredients

  • French bread 2 slices
  • Sake 25g
  • Sugar 45g
  • Water 150g
  • Mascarpone cheese 150g
  • Sugar 1.5tbsp
  • Mint
  • Blueberry
  • Orange

Instructions

  1. Add sugar and water and put in 600w microwave for 2 mins.
  2. Add sake in step 1 and cool it down.
  3. Mix mascarpone cheese and sugar.
  4. Cut bread into 4 slices.
  5. Dunk bread slices into mixture from step 2.
  6. Let bread slices sit overnight in refrigerator.
  7. Layer bread slices from step 6, mixture from step 3, and fruits in a glass.
