A New Brewery Rice for Premium Sake
Tominokaori is a new species of brewery rice that was bred specifically for brewing premium sake. The local sake brewery in Toyama began breeding Tominokaori in 1997, and it was licensed in 2010.
The size of Tominokaori is between that of Yamadanishiki and Oyamanishiki. Tominokaori has a large grain size, which makes it ideal for brewing premium sake.
