Crafted by Chiyo Shuzo in Gose, Nara Prefecture, the Kujira (櫛羅) series is a limited-label sake brewed exclusively with estate-grown Yamada Nishiki rice cultivated in the brewery’s own fields. Sown and brewed by the hands of the kurabito themselves, this sake expresses the pure essence of Kujira terroir. This edition uses a polishing ratio of 66%, showcasing a rounded, umami-rich profile with a fresh and balanced finish—amplified by the energy and texture only a muroka nama genshu can deliver.
