An Estate-Brewed Junmai from Gose, Nara
Crafted by Chiyo Shuzo in Gose, Nara Prefecture, the Kujira (櫛羅) series is a limited-production sake brewed exclusively with estate-grown Yamada Nishiki rice cultivated in the brewery’s own fields.
From cultivating the rice to brewing the sake, every step is carried out by the kurabito themselves, allowing the unique terroir of Kujira to shine through. This expression is polished to 66%, revealing a rounded, umami-rich profile with a fresh, well-balanced finish.
As a muroka nama genshu—unfiltered, unpasteurized, and undiluted—it offers an added sense of vibrancy, depth, and texture.
