A refreshing, clear, and modern Japanese sake. Its crisp acidity and bitterness are reminiscent of grapefruit.

Upon opening the bottle, the aroma of grapes immediately fills the air. It begins with a lively effervescence, offering a charming cherry-like sweetness, followed by a vibrant acidity that brings an intense and stimulating flavor profile.

The interplay of sweet and sour notes is complemented by hints of strawberry and blackcurrant, leaving a refreshing and complex impression as these flavors blend together. The finish is smooth and light, disappearing gracefully.

“CASARECCIO” means “homemade, handcrafted” in Italian, while “NERO” translates to “black.” This sake is brewed using “black koji,” typically used in making shochu and awamori, rather than white koji.

This choice emphasizes a clearer, juicier sweetness and acidity, creating a unique experience rarely seen in sake. Particularly rare is this refreshing type made with black koji, and its eye-catching label art further adds to its appeal. Chill thoroughly to enjoy its refreshing effervescence and delicious acidity.

⚠️ Important Notice ⚠️

Although it’s not a sparkling sake, it may spray upon opening. The brewery seals it in a semi-cloudy, ultra-fresh state, so please refrigerate thoroughly before opening.
