From “Shikishima,” revived by the 9th generation after being out of business for over 20 years, comes their second-year summer Sake.
This junmai Sake is characterized by a refreshing, citrus-like taste and a cooling sensation. The subtle effervescence gives it a “summery” flavor.
While the robust character typical of Shikishima’s unprocessed Sake is somewhat toned down, it still delivers a solid, umami-rich, dry finish.
